Image description cont. She asks help in waging war against those who have insulted her. The war is expressed by three symbols: a shield and a bloody arrow, a mamalhuaztli (a wooden object used to kindle fire), and an object which looks like a brazier. Two anonymous captains are called by the goddess to help the princess. One is from the goddess's own town of Skull, the other is from a place which is probably called Hill of the Wildcat. Both are armed with shield and sword-club, they wear the characteristic hairdress of the warrior, the temilotl, tied with a feather headdress, formed by a ball of down, an eagle father, and some long quetzal plumes: this clearly shows their important status.
