Start of text. Historiated initial 'C(YNTHIA)' with youth richly dressed, with laurel wreath on his hat, holding book and glasses. Gold inscription on purple panel with title, frame decorated with satyr heads and monsters with gem necklace. In upper border, ribbons and laurel leaves. In left border, band of flowers, gold ring with black gem. In lower border, coat of arms (or, 6 balls, gules Medici?) supported by two hybrids (mermen), laurel branches, ribbons and ring.
